US distillate fuel exports reached a record high in the week ended July 31, according to weekly data from the Energy Information Administration released Wednesday.
According to EIA data, US distillate exports hit 1.88 million barrels per day in the week ended July 31, compared with 1.79 mmb/d the week earlier.
This is a record high since the EIA started publishing distillate export data in June 2010 and the second highest since the previous record of 1.86 mmb/d in May 2026, EIA data revealed.
Distillate fuel inventories declined by 3.5 million barrels last week, standing at 107.2 mmbbls, EIA data show. Distillate stocks are about 12% below the five-year average for the seasonal average.
