US weekly ethanol production dropped slightly, according to the US Energy Information Administration report on Wednesday.
For the week ending June 12, US ethanol production averaged 1.10 million barrels per day, slightly below last week's 1.11 mmb/d and last year's 1.11 mmb/d.
The four-week average output at 1.10 mmb/d was equal to last year.
Midwest ethanol production averaged 1.04 mmb/d, below 1.05 mmb/d from the previous week. Four-week average output at 1.04 mmb/d, compared with 1.04 mmb/d a year ago.
Domestic ethanol inventories ended the week at 24.5 million barrels, unchanged from a week ago and above 24.1 million bbls a year ago.
