TTEC (TTEC) shares were up over 8% in Wednesday trading after its digital unit struck a strategic deal with Amazon Web Services to accelerate Amazon Connect adoption.

TTEC Digital will help organizations move beyond basic cloud migration to leverage AI, automation, and real-time data within Amazon Connect, the company said.

The collaboration will provide tools for agent assistance, self-service and updating outdated contact center technology, it said.
