Update: Sonic Healthcare Fiscal 2026 Underlying Earnings, Revenue Up; Shares Fall 7%

Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) logged AU$1.256 in underlying earnings per share for fiscal 2026, compared with AU$1.103 a year ago, a Thursday filing showed.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of AU$1.22.

For the 12 months ended June 30, revenue was AU$10.87 billion versus AU$9.65 billion previously, the Australia-listed healthcare provider added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$10.87 billion.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.63 per share, unchanged from a year earlier, payable Sept. 17 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 3.

For fiscal 2027, the firm expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of AU$1.95 billion to AU$2.03 billion on a constant currency basis, excluding back-office IT systems transformation costs of around AU$30 million.

Its shares fell 7% in recent trading on Thursday.
