Sims (ASX:SGM) logged AU$1.477 in underlying EPS for fiscal 2026, compared with AU$0.425 a year ago, a Tuesday filing showed.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected AU$1.329.
For the 12 months ended June 30, sales revenue was AU$8.01 billion versus AU$7.49 billion previously, the Australia-listed scrap metal recycling company added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet projected AU$8.18 billion.
The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.20 per share, payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 1, taking the fiscal 2026 dividend to AU$0.34 per share from AU$0.23 a year earlier.
The company expects its Sims Lifecycle Services division to post first-half fiscal 2027 underlying earnings before interest and taxes of AU$75 million to AU$90 million.
Its shares fell 12% in recent trading on Tuesday.
