(Updates fourth paragraph to note that TCC declined to comment)
Taiwan's TCC Group (TPE:1101) is assessing London as a possible venue for the planned listing of its European business, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The company is said to be increasingly favoring the UK capital over other exchanges previously under consideration, although no final decision has been reached, according to the report.
TCC said it is evaluating the feasibility of floating its European operations on a recognized European stock exchange, with the London Stock Exchange among the options. It added that any decision on the listing venue will require approval from its board, the news outlet said.
Responding to' inquiry, TCC declined to comment, directing inquiries instead to the company's official announcements for updates.
