PayPal (PYPL) CEO Enrique Lores plans to break out company results and assign revenue targets for its three main businesses, to give investors a clearer picture of each unit's potential, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing an interview.

Lores said that the goal is to increase earnings per share by a percentage in the double digits, "supported by positive transaction margin growth over time," according to the report.

A spokesperson for PayPal declined to comment on the Bloomberg report, and said that the company's intention to shift to segment reporting has been flagged by Chief Financial and Operating Officer Jamie Miller during Q1 earnings call in May.
