Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) is working on a significant risk transfer tied to about 100 billion liras ($2.1 billion) worth of corporate loans in Turkey, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The loans to small and mid-size companies were made by BBVA's Turkish unit, Garanti, the report said. World Bank Group's International Finance Corp. could participate as an anchor investor, the report said.

BBVA declined to comment.
