Update: Helix Energy Shares Rise After Completing Merger With Hornbeck Offshore Services

Helix Energy Solutions (HLX) shares were up 3.5% in Tuesday trading after the company and Hornbeck Offshore Services said that they have completed their combination in an all-stock transaction.

The combined company has assumed the Hornbeck Offshore Services name and will begin trading Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "HOS," the companies said.
