GE Vernova (GEV) shares rose 12.2% on Wednesday after the company reported higher Q1 earnings and revenue, and raised its 2026 revenue forecast.
The company reported Q1 earnings of $17.44 per share, up from $0.91 a year earlier.
Total revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $9.34 billion, up from $8.03 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $9.25 billion.
The company also said it now expects 2026 revenue of about $44.5 billion to $45.5 billion, compared with the previous outlook of $44 billion to $45 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $44.66 billion.
