Update: FleetPartners Group Receives Non-Binding, Conditional Offer From SG Fleet, Shares Hit Two-Year High

FleetPartners Group (ASX:FPR) received an unsolicited, indicative, non-binding, and conditional offer from SG Fleet Topco to acquire all of the outstanding shares in the company through a scheme of arrangement at AU$3.60 apiece, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The proposal is subject to the completion of due diligence, entry into a scheme implementation agreement, and regulatory approvals, among other conditions.

The board is reviewing the proposal and advised shareholders that no action is needed right now, the filing said.

The company's shares rose 16% to their highest since August 2024 in recent Monday trade.

Xinyi Glass' Profit Climbs 17% in H1

Xinyi Glass (HKG:0868) recorded a 17% rise in attributable profit to 1.19 billion yuan for the first half of 2026 from 1.01 billion yuan a year prior.Earnings per share rose to 0.2672 yuan from 0.2325 previously, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.Revenue declined 3.1% to 9.52 billion yuan from 9.82 billion yuan in the year-ago period, mainly due to a drop in the average selling prices of float glass products.The glass manufacturing company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.15 per share for the period, payable on or around Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 19.
