Birkenstock (BIRK) shares were up past 17% in Thursday trading after its fiscal Q3 revenue rose year on year and beat analysts' estimates, and it updated its fiscal 2026 revenue growth guidance.
The company reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Thursday of 0.74 euro ($0.85) per share, up from 0.62 euro a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected 0.75 euro.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was 719.5 million euros, up from 635 million euros a year ago. Analysts expected 715.3 million euros.
For fiscal 2026, the company said it continues to expect adjusted EPS of between 1.90 euros and 2.05 euros. Analysts expect 2 euros.
Meanwhile, revenue growth for the fiscal year is projected to be 15%, compared with the prior outlook of a 13% to 15% growth, resulting in reported revenue at the high end of 2.3 billion euros to 2.35 billion euros. Analysts are expecting 2.34 billion euros.
