Beta Technologies (BETA) shares were down more than 8% early Wednesday after the company posted a wider-than-expected Q2 loss, despite narrowing year over year.
The company reported a Q2 loss of $0.64 per diluted share, shrinking from a loss of $2.02 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.55.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $14.7 million, compared with $6 million a year earlier.
Analysts projected $9.5 million.
For full-year 2026, the company now expects revenues to be in the range of $42 million to $50 million, compared with the prior outlook of $39 million to $43 million. Analysts project $41.5 million.
