Bathurst Resources (ASX:BRL) said a New Zealand court has dismissed Talley's Group's attempt to bring a derivative lawsuit involving Bathurst, according to a late Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Talley's first initiated the dispute in 2024 by filing a statement of claim against Bathurst, its directors, and related parties, alleging prejudiced shareholder conduct and misleading representations, and seeking damages, an earlier bourse disclosure showed.
The High Court of New Zealand had previously issued confidentiality and non-publication orders in relation to the litigation, which continue to apply in the latest ruling, as per the late Thursday filing.
Bathurst Resources shares gained 4% in recent Friday trade.
