Update: Aurizon Holdings Fiscal 2026 Underlying Earnings, Revenue Up; Shares Fall 9%

Aurizon Holdings (ASX:AZJ) logged AU$0.252 in underlying earnings per share for the fiscal 2026, compared with AU$0.195 a year ago, a Monday filing showed.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$0.25.

For the 12 months ended June 30, revenue was AU$4.19 billion versus AU$3.95 billion previously, the Australia-listed rail freight operator added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$4.16 billion.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.105 per share, up from AU$0.065 a year earlier, payable Sept. 23 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 1.

The company expects fiscal 2027 underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to range from AU$1.73 billion to AU$1.78 billion, with fiscal-year dividend of AU$0.23 to AU$0.24 per share.

The company's shares fell 9% in recent Monday trade.
