Upbound Appoints Scott Young as COO

Upbound (UPBD) said Tuesday it has appointed Scott Young as the company's chief operating officer, a newly created role that will unify business segments under a single leader.

Young most recently served as senior vice president and global head of financial solutions for PayPal (PYPL) and Venmo, according to a statement.

Upbound also said it has appointed Dev Chakraborty as senior vice president and head of Brigit, a financial health technology firm.
