United Rentals (URI) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $12.76 per diluted share, up from $10.47 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $11.54.
Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was $4.41 billion, up from $3.94 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $4.21 billion.
The company raised full-year fiscal 2026 revenue outlook to $17.5 billion to $17.8 billion from $16.9 billion to $17.4 billion earlier. Analysts expect $17.27 billion.
