United Airlines (UAL) and CAE (CAE) have completed the first phase of expansion at United's Flight Training Center in Denver, adding 40 CAE training devices since 2022, the companies said Thursday.
The facility now spans nearly 700,000 square feet across eight buildings and houses 86 CAE training devices, including 52 full-motion flight simulators and 34 fixed training devices, capable of training up to 860 pilots per day, they said.
United, which has nearly 18,000 pilots, plans a second phase of expansion that is expected to break ground next year and become operational before 2030, according to the statement.
