Unisplendour (SHE:000938) plans to refinance 8.52 billion yuan in debt it took in 2024 to fund its acquisition of H3C Group, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
The semiconductor manufacturer's board approved a proposal for its subsidiary, Tsinghua Unigroup International, to apply for a new M&A bank loan.
The funds will be used entirely to pay off the outstanding balance of the 8.97 billion yuan syndicated loan it secured in August 2024.
Unisplendour currently holds an 87.98% controlling stake in H3C.
The new loan's term will not exceed six years, with the final maturity date expected to be no later than Aug. 28, 2031.
