Unimicron Technology (TPE:3037) agreed to sell 100% equity stake in UNIMICRON Technology (Shenzhen), through its unit PLATO Electronics (Cayman) for 880 million yuan, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares gained 2% in Monday's midday trade.
The stake will be sold to Palwonn Electronics (Shenzhen), and the transaction is expected to generate an estimated disposal gain of $86.1 million, it said.
