Unilever, Galaxy Surfactants Expand Product Development Collaboration

Unilever (UL) and Galaxy Surfactants said Wednesday they signed an agreement to expand their technology-focused partnership.

The deal focuses on joint investments to build advanced surfactant technologies and chemical formulas, the companies said.

The collaboration aims to strengthen supply-chain resilience, explore lower-carbon technologies and create shared capacity closer to consumers in North America, the companies said.

Shares of Unilever were up 1.6% in Wednesday trading.
