Unigroup Guoxin Microelectronics (SHE:002049) plans to acquire Ruineng Semiconductor for 1.90 billion yuan, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Saturday.
The Chinese semiconductor company's shares rose 1% during Monday's afternoon trade.
Part of the funds for the transaction will be raised through a 396 million yuan share placement.
