Unico Silver (ASX:USL) received firm commitments to raise about AU$60 million through the placement of roughly 78.9 million new shares at AU$0.76 apiece, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Proceeds will be used to advance 20,000 meters of resource growth drilling across the Joaquin and Cerro Leon projects in Argentina, finalize the maiden pre-feasibility study by January 2027, and progress the definitive feasibility study to the end of 2027, the filing said.
Shares fell past 12% in morning trade Thursday.
