Unico Silver (ASX:USL) advanced works at the Joaquin project in Argentina in the three months ended June 30, with high-grade gold-silver intercepts across multiple prospects that extend mineralization beyond the March mineral resource, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Assays from 121 drill holes totaling 16,194 meters indicate that all reported results remain open at depth and along strike, suggesting potential for further resource growth beyond the maiden preliminary feasibility study (PFS), the filing said.
The company is now focusing on PFS workstreams ahead of a maiden PFS slated for the third quarter of the year, per the filing.
Shares rose 3% in morning trade Wednesday.
