U.S. Bancorp Closes Acquisition of BTIG

U.S. Bancorp (USB) said Monday it has completed the acquisition of BTIG, effective today.

Anton LeRoy will remain the chief executive officer of BTIG, reporting to Stephen Philipson, vice chair and head of Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking at U.S. Bancorp, according to a statement.

BTIG co-founder and executive chairman, Steven Starker, will report to LeRoy and continue his current day-to-day role, the company said.

BTIG will continue to operate as a separate broker-dealer within U.S. Bancorp, the company added.
