Tutor Perini Unit Wins $45.2 Million Guam Project to Build 2 Bridges

Tutor Perini (TPC) said Wednesday its Black Construction unit won a $45.2 million contract from the Guam Department of Public Works to rebuild two bridges along Route 1.

Work on the two bridges, Laguas Bridge and Asan Culvert, will begin in the coming weeks, with completion expected in early 2029, the company said.

The company also said it expects to book the contract value into its Q3 backlog.

Shares of the company were down 1.8% in Wednesday trading.

Spire Global Wins $33.2 Million NOAA Contract for Satellite Weather Data

Spire Global (SPIR) won a $33.2 million contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to deliver global navigation satellite system radio occultation data to enhance weather forecasting.The data will feed NOAA's prediction models and support weather forecasting, space weather applications, and research by scientific organizations, Spire said Tuesday in a statement.The two-year contract, which starts Dec. 1, includes additional unfunded surge-buy options that may raise the total value to $66 million if fully exercised, the company said.Spire shares rose 2.2% in after-hours trading.
