Tutor Perini Says Lunda Construction Unit Won Minnesota Railroad Bridge Contract

Tutor Perini (TPC) said Wednesday that its Lunda Construction unit has won the Roberts Street Railroad Bridge Replacement Project in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The contract value, which was not disclosed, will be included in Tutor Perini's Q2 backlog, the company said.

The construction company said the contract includes replacing the existing railroad bridge over the Mississippi River, rebuilding the approach bridges, rehabilitating concrete piers, installing new protective structures, and constructing a support platform for a new operations building. The current bridge will remain in service during construction, Tutor Perini said.

Tutor Perini said work is scheduled to begin this month, with substantial completion expected in December 2029.
