TruScreen Group's Grant Proposals to Unitaid Not Selected for Further Development

TruScreen Group (ASX:TRU, NZE:TRU) said three grant proposals it submitted to health organization Unitaid to help prevent cervical cancer in low and middle income countries were not selected for further development, according to a Wednesday filing on the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

The company's proposals submitted in April involved the scale-up of an artificial intelligence-enabled screening tool across six African countries, the introduction of a screen-and-treat model across the same countries, and a proposal to address the cervical cancer crisis in Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

TruScreen said it has strengthened key relationships with a consortium of non-governmental organizations that the company plans to partner with in the future.
