US President Donald Trump considers the tentative ceasefire with Iran to be over after the US launched fresh strikes on Iran and revoked a waiver allowing sales of Iranian oil, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
Speaking alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the alliance's summit in Ankara, Trump said, "For me, I think it's over," adding that he no longer wanted to negotiate with Iran, according to the report.
The latest escalation follows attacks on three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Bloomberg said.
It added that Washington blamed Iran for the attacks, while Tehran alleged the new strikes and the waiver revocation violated the agreement between the two countries.
