Shares of the company soared over 10% in Friday's trade.
Earnings per share in the fiscal half ended March 31 climbed to 9.45 rupees from 6.32 rupees a year earlier.
The pharmaceutical company's net sales jumped year on year to 756.6 million rupees from 496.2 million rupees, the filing said.
