Trendlines (SGX:42T) said its portfolio company EcoPhage received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval for GoldenEco, a phage-based biopesticide for bacterial diseases affecting tomatoes and peppers.
The product uses naturally occurring bacteriophages to target and destroy bacterial pathogens without chemical residues, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore bourse.
EcoPhage will work with U.S. commercial partners, distributors and growers to prepare for market development and distribution, it said.
