TransThera Sciences (Nanjing) (HKG:2617) said Chinese regulators approved its phase 2 clinical trial of tinengotinib to treat prostate cancer, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The company's shares fell over 3% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
The firm will evaluate a combination of tinengotinib and novel hormone therapy in an open-label study in subjects with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
In a separate announcement, the firm said it is partnering with Shanghai Allist Pharmaceuticals on another open-label phase 2 study to evaluate TT-00973-MS tablets in combination with firmonertinib mesylate tablets in patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
