TPI Polene Power to Lease Space from Parent for Solar Project

TPI Polene Power (SET:TPIPP) signed a lease agreement with parent company TPI Polene (SET:TPIPL) for a commercial space to operate a solar power generation project, according to a Thursday Thailand bourse filing.

The three-year lease covers an area of 42,070 square meters on the roof of TPI Polene's concrete roof tile plant. The project will be used as the site for the company's 6.012-megawatt rooftop solar power generation project.

The project will run till Sept. 30, 2029, with a total three-year rental fee of 4.7 million baht.

China, US Reach New Agreement, Agree to Extend Trade Truce Through January 2027

China and the U.S. reached a new joint arrangement following a fresh round of consultations between their trade teams, according to a readout by the Chinese Foreign Ministry released Friday.The arrangement comes after both countries agreed to extend their trade truce for another two months through January 10, 2027, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in an interview on Fox News Thursday, a day after Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Washington.The original deal was supposed to expire Nov. 10, and the extension would give time for both countries to work on a bigger deal, Bessent said.Both Beijing and Washington could ensure a more stable trade relationship if they expand the list of areas for cooperation and shorten their list of issues, the ministry said.

Electro Optic Systems Lists Remote Weapon System on US Counter-Drone Marketplace; Shares Gain 6%

Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX:EOS) said its EOS R400 remote weapon system is now listed on a US Joint Interagency Task Force marketplace that facilitates the procurement of counter-drone technologies by eligible US government customers, according to a Thursday statement.Operating as an independent e-commerce platform, the Counter-UAS Marketplace allows customers to review performance data and compare available systems before placing orders.The company said 23 countries are currently cleared for participation in the marketplace, with access expanding to participating allied nations by the end of September.Electro Optic Systems shares rose 6% in recent Friday trade.
