Toyota Motor, TotalEnergies Looking to Accelerate Hydrogen Vehicle Rollouts in Europe

Toyota Motor (TM) and TotalEnergies (TTE) are among a group of companies planning to accelerate the launch of hydrogen-powered vehicles in Europe, Toyota said Tuesday.

German authorities and industry leaders in Europe have arranged for the "scalable deployment" of hydrogen trucks by 2030, based on Germany's deployment model, according to the statement.

Toyota said it will serve as a technology partner supporting the expansion of hydrogen mobility, while energy companies like TotalEnergies will be in charge of scaling liquid and gaseous hydrogen supply chains, and refueling stations.

Other companies participating in the initiative are Volvo Group, Daimler Truck, Bosch, Air Liquide, and MB Energy, Toyota said.

Oaktree Capital Funds to Sell Torm Shares

Torm's (TRMD-A.CO) shareholder OCM Njord Holdings launched an offering of 9 million class A shares in the later, according to a Monday release.OCM, a company owned by Oaktree Capital Management-advised funds and affiliates, held a 20% stake in the refined oil product carrier before the offering. It launched the sale with a 30-day option for the sale of up to an additional 1,350,000 shares in Torm, which will not receive any proceeds from the transaction.
