TotalEnergies Closes Sale of European Distributed Solar Assets

TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) said Thursday it finalized the sale of distributed solar assets across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the UK and Luxembourg.

The divested assets comprise primarily rooftop installations and have a combined capacity of 170 megawatts. The buyers, Amarenco and AMPYR Distributed Energy, will continue to operate the assets following the transaction.

The transaction marked the French energy company's exit from distributed generation in the seven European countries.
