Top Bright Holding (TPE:8499) has received board approval to sell Suzhou Deshi New Energy Technology Co., along with the Phase II assets of Suzhou Deyou New Material Technology Co., for 217.6 million yuan, according to a Wednesday filing to the Taiwan stock exchange.
The company's shares jumped 7% in Thursday's trade.
Top Bright expects to record a gain of approximately NT$8.7 million from the disposal.
The transaction includes land-use rights covering 47,980 square meters and buildings with a total floor area of 68,550.8 square meters in Caohu Avenue in Suzhou's Xiangcheng District, at the rate of 3,165 yuan per square meter of building area.
The disposal follows the company's June 2025 acquisition of a 70% stake in Deyou New Material. Under that acquisition agreement, the company agreed to transfer the Deshi subsidiary and sell Deyou New Material's Phase II assets to related parties.
