Tongling Nonferrous Metals (SHE:000630) plans to apply for H-share listing in Hong Kong's Main Board, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The move aims to advance the copper producer's international expansion, optimize its capital structure and enhance its global resource allocation capabilities.
The proposal requires approvals from the board and shareholders as well as clearances from Chinese and Hong Kong authorities.
Shares of the company rose 1% in recent trade.
