Tonghua Dongbao Pharmaceutical (SHA:600867) said its insulin aspart injection, co-developed with Nanjing King-Friend Pharmaceutical (SHA:603707), received U.S. Food and Drug Administration biologics license application approval, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The injection is indicated to improve blood glucose control through subcutaneous injection, the filing said.
Shares of Dongbao rose 2% during afternoon trading on Tuesday.
