Tokyo Ohka Kogyo's H1 Profit Climbs 50%; Interim Dividend Declared

Tokyo Ohka Kogyo (TYO:4186) recorded a 50% rise in attributable profit for the first half of 2026 to 20.4 billion yen from 13.6 billion yen a year prior.

Earnings per share increased to 170.12 yen from 113.73 yen previously, according to a Thursday Tokyo bourse filing.

Net sales jumped 25% to 139.7 billion yen from 111.6 billion yen in the year-ago period.

The company forecasts an attributable profit of 42.6 billion yen, basic EPS of 355.21 yen, net sales of 291 billion yen, and a total dividend of 80 yen per share for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31.

CPE Technology Unit to Buy Johor Land with Factory for MYR10 Million

CPE Technology's (KLSE:CPETECH) subsidiary, Champion Precision Technology, agreed to acquire a piece of freehold land with a factory in Johor, Malaysia, from Flomatic Industries, for 10 million ringgit, according to a Wednesday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The acquisition will be funded via proceeds from the company's initial public offering.The expansion is part of CPE's strategy to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and expand production capacity.The transaction is expected to conclude by the second quarter of 2027, the filing said.
