Toho (TYO:9602) has completed the sale of part of its investment securities and will record 11.1 billion yen in extraordinary income, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
The entertainment company said the sale aligns with its policy to reduce strategic shareholdings, and it will recognize the gains as extraordinary income in the third quarter of the consolidated fiscal year ending February 28, 2027.
The impact of the transaction on the company's consolidated earnings forecasts is under review.
