Tivan (ASX:TVN) secured an expansion of its granted exploration and evaluation license at the Baucau project in Timor-Leste following approval from the National Mineral Authority, Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The expansion adds roughly 50 square kilometers of contiguous ground east of the current license, with the additional area encompassing a large-scale magnetic anomaly extending about 2.5 kilometers by 1 kilometer that was identified from regional datasets, the filing said.
The company will focus on exploration activities in the newly incorporated area, per the filing.
