Tivan Says Executive Chairman's Social Media Post Did Not Breach ASX Listing Rules

By

Tivan (ASX:TVN) said a social media post by Executive Chairman Grant Wilson on Sept. 6 did not breach listing rules as it contained already-disclosed information and was published on a Sunday afternoon when markets were closed, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

An image in the X post did not disclose assay results, and only depicted a regional location and survey area map showing concession boundaries and survey zones for certain projects, the company said in response to a query from the ASX.

It added that the image "was substantially the same" as a regional location map published as part of an earlier market disclosure in August.

While the post was published by Wilson in a personal capacity and was not authorized by Tivan, there was no prejudice to the market since the information was already public, the company said.

"Tivan confirms that it is, and at all material times was, in compliance with the ASX listing rules," it said.
