Tivan (ASX:TVN) was awarded the exploration and evaluation license, MEL2025-CA-ZC004, located north of its Turiscai project in East Timor, after a competitive tender process, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The tender process was administered by the National Mineral Authority, Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais.
The expanded project will comprise eight exploration and evaluation licenses covering around 394 square kilometers, the company said, adding that it is exploring for copper and gold mineralization.
