Tigerair Taiwan (TPE:6757) signed a memorandum of understanding with International Aero Engines to cooperate on maintenance support for Pratt & Whitney (PW) engines, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The MOU also establishes the parties' intention to negotiate a maintenance agreement for PW engines and secure spare engines to support the airline's fleet operations.
The company added that the MOU has no material impact on its finances or operations at this stage.
