Tianqi Lithium (HKG:9696, SHE:002466) said its wholly owned subsidiary Tianqi Lithium (Shehong) agreed to invest 150 million yuan in Sunwoda Mobility Energy Technology through a subscription for newly issued shares.
The investment will give Tianqi Lithium (Shehong) 79.2 million newly issued shares in the new energy technology company, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing. Sungrow Power Supply also plans to participate in the capital increase by subscribing for 345.9 million newly issued shares.
Shares of the lithium miner rose nearly 2% in recent trade.
