Theta Edge (KLSE:THETA) has decided to abort its proposed private placement of up to 23.6 million shares, representing about 20% of its existing issued share capital.
The company said the decision was made after board deliberation, citing plans to explore alternative fundraising avenues that could potentially raise higher proceeds, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.
Theta Edge said it will continue evaluating other capital-raising options for its business needs.
