Theta Edge's (KLSE:THETA) joint venture with Malaysian Resources will carry out a 3.03 billion turnkey contract for the Penang Mutiara Line light rail project, according to a Friday filing with Bursa Malaysia.
The project will be carried out over a period of around six years from commencement.
The technology and engineering services provider has a 10% stake of MRCB-Theta Edge JV, which will handle the engineering, procurement, design, construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the railway systems.
