TGS Launches Multi-client 3D Seismic Survey in Brazil's Pelotas Basin

TGS (TGS.OL) launched the Pelotas Sul phase 1 multi-client 3D seismic survey covering 13,500 square kilometers in the Pelotas Basin, offshore Brazil.

The survey will be conducted in a joint venture with SLB and through the Ramform Tethys seismic research vessel, according to a Thursday release.

The energy sector data and intelligence company expects to conclude data acquisition in the early third quarter.
