Textron's Kautex Unit Wins Business Award for Pentatonic Battery Enclosure System

Textron's (TXT) Kautex Textron unit said Tuesday it won a new business award for its Pentatonic battery enclosure system.

Financial details weren't provided.

The company said it will deliver to an unnamed automotive original equipment manufacturer the full battery enclosure system with a top cover, bottom tray and thermal management solution for a multi-vehicle platform.

Production will be localized in North America, with manufacturing planned for 2028 using a highly automated production process, Kautex Textron said.
