Texmaco Rail Wins International Order Worth $431 Million; Shares Jump 14%

Texmaco Rail & Engineering (NSE:TEXRAIL, BOM:533326) received a letter of award worth about $430.6 million from Tsiko Africa Logistics and Barberry Holdings, according to an Indian bourse filing on Tuesday.

Shares of the company jumped nearly 14% in Wednesday's trade.

The order is for supply of freight wagons, locomotives and components, the filing said. It also includes long-term maintenance of the rolling stock, the filing said.

The contract will be executed by 2027-2028, it added.
